Annie Fox for Teens... Hey, Terra!

Annie (AKA Hey Terra!) has been around long enough to have experienced a lot of what Life can dish out. But, it hasn’t been so long that she's forgotten what it's like to be your age. Check out some of the thousands of email questions teens from around the world have sent to Terra. You may learn something useful from her answers:

Long-distance relationships:
“We're apart and we fight about ridiculous things.”

Hey Terra,

My b/f and I have been together exactly 12 Months now, of which the last 2 have been apart. We were really great friends before. we could talk about anything, and NO FIGHTS AT ALL!! Now, he think we fight about everything! I don't think so! But we still end up fighting about ridiculous things really! What do I do?!! please help!

Wanting the Peace

Dear Wanting the Peace,

If you could be specific please: Exactly what are you fighting about and when did all of this start? The reason I ask is that a healthy relationship based on two-way trust, honesty, respect and open communication doesn't just turn bad all of a sudden. I'm thinking something must have happened.

Write back.

In friendship,

Terra
