Annie Fox for Teens... Hey, Terra!

Annie (AKA Hey Terra!) has been around long enough to have experienced a lot of what Life can dish out. But, it hasn’t been so long that she's forgotten what it's like to be your age. Check out some of the thousands of email questions teens from around the world have sent to Terra. You may learn something useful from her answers:

“I'm afraid people will make fun of me.”
(Continued)

Hey Terra,

Well I'm slow with learning and I have a bad memory, Like I'm in the 8th grade and just leaned the 3x. And if you tell me something long I would just forget like the minute after you tell me.

LD Kid

Dear LD Kid,

Learning the 3X is an accomplishment at any age. Congratulations! But, I have to say, that knowing multiplication or not knowing it doesn't help you be a good friend. Being the kind of person that other people want to get to know comes from having a good heart, being a good listener, being honest with yourself and others, and understanding that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. So, tell me about the friends you have already.

In friendship,

Terra
