Annie Fox for Teens... Hey, Terra!

Annie (AKA Hey Terra!) has been around long enough to have experienced a lot of what Life can dish out. But, it hasn’t been so long that she's forgotten what it's like to be your age. Check out some of the thousands of email questions teens from around the world have sent to Terra. You may learn something useful from her answers:

“Awesome guy. Not so awesome smoking problem.”
(Continued)

Hey Terra,

You are so totally right. I agree with everything you said. I think I just needed to hear someone say it to me. If he really cares about being with me then he should at least put an effort in to stopping. I wanna let him know it's bothering me but I don't know how to even begin that conversation!! I have never been in this position before.

Squeaky Clean

Dear Squeaky Clean,

Just tell him what you feel. Like I said before, tell him, "I care about you but until you can totally stop using drugs, smoking, and drinking, and actually stay clean and sober for at least at least several months, then I'm not going out with you."

Good luck.

In friendship,

Terra
