Annie Fox for Teens... Hey, Terra!

Annie (AKA Hey Terra!) has been around long enough to have experienced a lot of what Life can dish out. But, it hasn’t been so long that she's forgotten what it's like to be your age. Check out some of the thousands of email questions teens from around the world have sent to Terra. You may learn something useful from her answers:

“I'm in love with a 21 year old player.”

Hey Terra,

Remember me? I had that problem with the 21 year old that I 'loved'. Well, I just wanted to thank you so much for your advice. It wasn't easy to forget him but I definitely am over him. Now I like another guy, he is 16 and I think we are going to have a wonderful future even if it isn't for a long time.

Once again I just can't put into words how much I appreciated your honesty.

Juliet

Dear Juliet,

I'm very glad to hear that my advice was helpful to you. Giving advice to others is not very difficult, taking that advice to heart and using what others say to help yourself is a major accomplishment. You have my respect and my admiration.

Good luck with the new guy. With mutual trust, respect and open-communication you can increase your chances for a healthy relationship (the only kind worth having).

In friendship,

Terra
